Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 August 2026
Welcome to NEFER. These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you visit our website, purchase our jewellery, or use any of the services provided through our website.
By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them along with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Exchanges Policy, Jewellery Care Guide and Privacy Policy, which together explain how we operate and what you can expect when you shop with us.
1. About NEFER

Throughout these Terms, “NEFER”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to NEFER. “You” and “your” refer to anyone visiting our website or purchasing from us.

2. Using Our Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the website or the experience of other users.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, introduce malicious software, interfere with its operation, scrape or reproduce its content without permission, or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to our website where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. Our Jewellery & Materials
Our jewellery is made using 925 sterling silver, with gold or rhodium plating depending on the design, along with natural gemstones and freshwater pearls.
Natural materials are an important part of what makes NEFER what it is. No two gemstones or pearls are exactly alike, so variations in colour, shape, size, pattern and inclusions are expected. These differences are natural characteristics rather than defects.
Some of our freshwater pearls may be dyed or otherwise treated to achieve a particular colour. Where this is relevant to a design, we will provide appropriate information on the product page.
Sterling silver may naturally tarnish or develop a patina over time. Gold and rhodium plating are surface finishes and will naturally wear with use. The rate at which this happens depends on how a piece is worn and cared for.
For more information, please see our Jewellery Care Guide.
4. Product Information & Photography
We make every effort to ensure that our product descriptions, measurements, photographs and other information are accurate.
Because our jewellery incorporates natural materials, the piece you receive may differ slightly from the photographs shown on our website. This is particularly true for gemstones and pearls, where individual variations are part of their natural character.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen, device and display settings.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information or make changes to our products when necessary.
5. Small-Batch Production & Availability
We make our jewellery in small quantities and do not necessarily restock every design once it sells out.
Availability shown on the website is subject to change. Occasionally, an item may become unavailable due to an inventory error or because the required materials are no longer available.
Where we are unable to fulfil an order that has already been placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate resolution, including a refund where applicable.
6. Pricing & GST
All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.
While we make every effort to keep pricing accurate, there may occasionally be an error. If an item has been listed at an incorrect price due to a genuine website or administrative error, we reserve the right to correct the error.
If an order has been placed at an incorrect price, we will contact you before proceeding. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a refund for the affected order.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted by us, except where an obvious pricing error has occurred.
7. Orders & Order Acceptance
When you place an order through our website, you are making a request to purchase the selected products.
Your order is subject to product availability and successful payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including suspected fraudulent activity, an inventory error, a pricing error or circumstances where we are unable to fulfil the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.
Once your order has been accepted, we will begin processing it in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
8. Payments
Payments on our website are processed through Razorpay, our third-party payment service provider.
When you make a payment, certain information required to process your transaction may be shared with Razorpay and other relevant payment or financial service providers. Payment information is processed in accordance with the applicable policies and security practices of those providers.
NEFER does not intentionally store your complete card details, CVV, PIN or other payment-instrument credentials on our own systems.
If a payment fails, is declined, reversed or remains pending, the transaction may not be considered successfully completed until payment has been confirmed.
9. Order Cancellations
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled by the customer.
Please review your products, specifications where applicable, delivery address and contact information carefully before completing your purchase.
For damaged or incorrect orders, please refer to our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
10. Shipping & Delivery
We currently ship within India.
Our processing times, estimated delivery timelines, shipping charges and other delivery information are set out in our Shipping Policy.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms of that policy.
Delivery timelines provided by NEFER are estimates and are not guaranteed dates. Once an order has been handed over to our courier partner, certain circumstances affecting delivery may be outside our control.
11. Returns & Exchanges
We currently do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, preference or other reasons unrelated to an issue with the order.
If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect piece, please contact us within the timeframe specified in our Returns & Exchanges Policy so that we can assess the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.
Please read the complete policy before placing an order.
12. Product Defects & Normal Wear
Our jewellery is made to be worn, but materials naturally change with use.
Tarnishing of sterling silver, gradual wear of gold or rhodium plating, minor marks caused by wear, and changes resulting from improper care are not considered manufacturing defects.
We do not offer a general warranty on our jewellery.
If you believe your piece has developed a genuine manufacturing defect, please contact us. We will assess the piece on a case-by-case basis and determine whether a repair or replacement is appropriate.
Any repair or replacement will depend on the nature of the issue and the availability of the required materials.
13. Repairs & Restringing
We want your NEFER jewellery to stay with you for as long as possible.
Necklace restringing is complimentary where the piece is suitable for restringing. Shipping costs to and from NEFER will be the responsibility of the customer.
Other repairs or services will be assessed individually. Where a paid service is possible, we will provide an estimate before carrying out the work.
Shipping costs for all repair and aftercare services are the responsibility of the customer.
While we will always do our best to restore a piece, we cannot guarantee that every repair will be possible. Replacement materials may not always be available, particularly where natural gemstones or pearls are involved.
Please contact us and receive confirmation before sending any jewellery to us for repair or restringing.
14. Lost Jewellery & Lost Stones
Once an order has been delivered, NEFER is not responsible for jewellery that is subsequently lost, damaged through wear or mishandled.
If a gemstone or pearl becomes detached or is lost, please contact us. We can assess the piece and determine whether repair or replacement is possible based on the design and availability of the required material.
Any such service may be chargeable.
15. Customisation
We currently do not offer customisation or modifications to our designs.
As NEFER grows, we may introduce custom services in the future. Any such services will be subject to separate terms communicated at the time.
16. Intellectual Property
NEFER's jewellery designs and creative work are our own.
Unless otherwise stated, all content appearing on our website—including jewellery designs, product concepts, photographs, videos, graphics, illustrations, written content, logos, branding, collection names and other creative material—is owned by or licensed to NEFER and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and use our website for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative works from our designs or website content without our prior written permission.
Purchasing a NEFER piece does not transfer ownership of the underlying design or any intellectual-property rights to the purchaser.
17. Personal Use & Resale
Our jewellery is intended for personal use.
You may not purchase NEFER jewellery for unauthorised resale, commercial distribution or reproduction of our designs without our prior written permission.
18. Website Information & Errors
We do our best to keep our website accurate and up to date, but errors can occasionally occur.
Information relating to products, pricing, availability, descriptions, photographs, promotions, shipping information or other website content may contain typographical or technical errors or may become outdated.
We reserve the right to correct, update or remove information at any time without prior notice.
Where an error materially affects an order that you have placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate resolution.
19. Website Availability
We aim to keep the NEFER website available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, updates or circumstances outside our control.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website or its features when necessary.
20. Third-Party Services & Links
Our website may use third-party services to help us operate our business, including payment processing, website functionality, analytics, communication and delivery services.
Your use of any third-party service may also be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policies.
Our website may occasionally contain links to third-party websites. These websites are not controlled by NEFER, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.
21. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the NEFER website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful elements, or that every piece of information on the website will always be complete or current.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights, warranties or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, NEFER will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, service interruptions, technical failures, events outside our control or misuse of our products.
Our liability in relation to a specific purchase will, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful use of our website, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of NEFER's intellectual-property rights or the rights of others.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as our business, website or legal requirements change.
The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the most recent update shown at the top.
Changes will apply from the date they are published and will not retrospectively change the terms of an order that has already been accepted, except where required by law.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, where possible.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
26. Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we have waived our right to enforce it later.
27. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your purchase from NEFER will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts having appropriate jurisdiction over NEFER's place of business, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or other applicable laws.
